Principal's Message

Welcome to an exciting new school year at St Thomas Aquinas Middle School and. As your newly appointed principal, I am thrilled to be a member of this vibrant school community.

Our school is blessed with a caring, talented staff who are committed to creating opportunities for students to share their wonderful gifts. Included in our community is our parish, St.Mary’s, and   under the guidance and leadership of our parish priest, Fr. Mirek, the students will have the opportunity to grow and learn about our faith through the sacraments and our daily prayer life. Together we can provide our children a quality Catholic education and bring promise to this year’s division’s theme:  Inspired by Christ on a Journey to Encounter, Nurture and Serve.

Our staff will continue to be devoted to ensuring all students experience success by becoming active participants in their learning. Our school values faith, academic excellence, fine arts and sports opportunities. We will continue to offer a wide-range of extra-curricular activities that are anchored in the St. Thomas tradition of success, teamwork and achievement.

St. Thomas has had a continued focus on maintaining a safe, caring and welcoming school community. We want all of our students and families to feel a part of this amazing community. Working together to care and love one another, we know that we will have a wonderful school year together.

As always we are grateful for the support and limitless help from our parents.  We encourage you to become involved in your child’s education. We are always eager to welcome parent volunteers who may volunteer in a number of areas as well as serving on our school council. We welcome our families to attend our many school events during the school year.

Dear Lord, as we begin this new school year,
we gather once again as your community of believers.
We thank you for the energy and the spirit
that you renewed in us through the summer months.
We thank you for the time to enjoy our family and
friends and to reflect on what is important in our lives.
Let this year be marked by enthusiasm, and love so that,
with the inspiration of your Spirit, we may continue to grow in our faith.
Help us to fulfill Your hope for us with honest intentions and works of faith.
Let us be gentle with ourselves and bring laughter, joy and love to others.

We ask this in your name. Amen.
